Receiving Registered Mail Items

For Registered Service(International), if the addressee confirms non-receipt or requests for proof of delivery, a request may be made to the Overseas Postal Administration at destination.

 

For loss of Registered mail items with an international receiving address, the maximum liability of SingPost is limited to Singapore Dollars Sixty-Eight (S$68.00) per article or the declared value of the mail item, whichever is lower.

All Registered Service mail items will be delivered to the Recipient's doorstep, with a tracking number to track item status at https://www.singpost.com/track-items/

 

If delivery to the doorstep is unsuccessful, SingPost will leave a Delivery Notification Card at the Recipient’s doorstep. Registered items will be placed at the designated Post Office for collection for the next 10 working days.

 

If items are not collected after 10 working days, it will be sent back to the sender.

Track your registered mail here. For Registered Service (International), SingPost provides the status up to the dispatch of the registered mail from Singapore to its destination. Please note that registered mail statuses may not be available depending on the destination.

For Registered Service (Singapore), if the registered mail is not collected within 10 days, it will be returned to the sender.

 

For Registered Service (International), the retention period varies based on the destination postal administration but the average duration ranges between 7 and 30 days.

AR is an optional service that is available for opt in when registering a mail item. With the opt in of the AR service, the recipient will be requested to sign on the AR card and this card will be automatically returned to the sender via mail upon successful delivery. This optional service is available at $1.00, on top of the registered fee plus postage.

 

The Signed Delivery Receipt is only available to the sender as a digital copy upon a successful request from the recipient’s Postal Administration. This request may require up to 3 working days (for local) and at least 25 working days (for overseas) to be processed.
