Sociedad Estatal Correos y Telégrafos S.A, S.M.E. (Correos) has informed of a wildfire outbreak in certain regions of Spain.
Several fires are currently active in the following regions and postcode areas of Spain: Cáceres (10XXX), Cádiz (11XXX), Huelva (21XXX), León (24XXX), Ourense (32XXX), Asturias (33XXX), Palencia (34XXX) and Zamora (49XXX).
Owing to these fires and resulting roadblocks, disruptions and delays may be experienced in the delivery and collection of mail products in some municipalities of the above postcode areas, especially in small or remote municipalities. Mail products in affected areas will be stored until the situation is back to normal and delivery services can be resumed.
This process may also be implemented in other areas potentially affected by fires in the coming days.
