The Department of Postal Services (Nepal Post) has informed that nationwide protests held on 7 and 8 September 2025 have resulted in severe damage to infrastructure across the country. Many government entities, including Nepal Post, have been affected.
Nepal Post’s facilities across the country have sustained significant damage.
Given this unprecedented situation, Nepal Post is unable to maintain its regular postal operations. Therefore, it is suspending its postal services until it can identify and implement alternative solutions to restore operations.
