Hongkong Post has advised that a No. 8 tropical cyclone warning signal was raised on 20 July 2025 for Typhoon Wipha.
As a result, the processing and conveyance of all local and inbound/outbound international mail (letter-post, parcel-post and EMS items) will be subject to disruption. Quality of service will be affected for all postal services, including inbound and outbound Speedpost, Air Parcel and Air Registered Mail items.
Hongkong Post expects the disruption to last for at least one day while the accumulated backlogs are cleared.
