The Department of Posts has advised of trade union action that commenced at 16.00 (local time) on 17 August 2025.
As most of its postal employees are members of the unions involved, the Department of Posts will be unable to maintain its regular delivery standards or ensure normal clearance of mail consignments at air and maritime facilities for the duration of the strike. Disruption to services should therefore be expected until further notice.
