Philippines – Typhoon Fung-wong

Share to:

The Philippine Postal Corporation (PHLPost) has advised that the passage of Typhoon Fung-wong – the strongest to hit the Luzon and Visayas regions this season – has caused strong winds and damage to infrastructure. This has resulted in significant disruption to postal operations, including the closure of some post offices and the suspension of work.

As of 10 November 2025, only certain post offices remain operational to serve the public, until 15.00 (local time), including:

  • Manila Central Post Office
  • SM Manila Post Office
  • Makati Central Post Office

Delays in international postal operations and potential disruption to the delivery of mail and parcels originating in the Philippines are anticipated. Normal operations at post offices other than those listed above will resume once the work suspension is lifted and conditions permit.
