Mauritius Post has advised that a class 3 cyclone warning is currently in force in Mauritius owing to the passage of Severe Tropical Storm Eleanor. The international airport is temporarily closed and several flights have been cancelled, delayed or rescheduled.
The collection, transportation and processing of both inbound and outbound mails (letter-post, parcel-post and EMS) are impacted, and there are delays to delivery of mails across the country.
