Israel Postal Company (Israel Post) advises that the State of Israel has declared a special state of emergency, effective from 28 February 2026 until 12 March 2026.
As a result, all national infrastructure has transitioned to emergency mode, meaning that:
– public gatherings and regular civilian activities are currently prohibited;
– citizens are instructed to remain in protected areas;
– operations at all ports have been suspended;
– flights and all other transportation services have been halted.
Israel Post is operating under these external restrictions, so delivery services for all mail (letter-post, parcel-post and EMS items) are limited.
