Hongkong Post has informed that the Hong Kong Observatory issued Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No.8 for Tropical Storm Tapah at 21.20 on 7 September 2025, as a result of which the processing and conveyance of all inward, outward and local mail will be disrupted for a certain period.
Once services are resumed, Hongkong Post expects the impact to last for at least one day before the backlogs accumulated can be cleared.
