Deutsche Post advises that as of 9 January 2026, certain regions of the country are experiencing severe weather conditions, including heavy snowfall and icy conditions.
As a result, road, rail and air transport will be disrupted, causing significant delays in the transportation and delivery of domestic and international mail (letter-post, parcel-post and EMS items) in many districts.
