Canada Post has advised that the Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW) intends to begin strike activity as of Friday, 23 May at midnight local time, unless the parties reach a settlement before then.
If a strike occurs, significant delays and service suspensions for mail and parcel deliveries are anticipated, with the extent of disruption depending on the scale of the strike activity.
