Posten Bring AS has advised of the consequences of Storm Hans, which has been ravaging central and southern parts of Norway since Tuesday, 8 August 2023.
Heavy rainfall, flooding and landslides have caused 125 roads to be closed, along with several railway connections. This is resulting in serious delays in the delivery of parcel-post and letter-post items.
All major roads and railway lines between Oslo and Trondheim and Oslo and Bergen are closed.
The current estimate is that the delays will last between one and three days.
