Malawi – Force majeure situation following Cyclone Freddy

Malawi Post has updated that Cyclone Freddy, which hit the Southern Region of Malawi, caused very strong winds, floods, landslides and mudslides. There is significant damage to infrastructure, including offices and houses, and some roads are also impassable. Post offices and postal staff have also been affected. Most offices in the affected area have been closed to ensure the safety of customers and staff.

 

Given this situation, Malawi Post has declared a force majeure situation.
