Seasoned Technology Leader to Drive Transformation
SINGAPORE - 25 September 2025 – Singapore Post Limited (SingPost) today announced the appointment of Mr. Mark Chong as its new Group Chief Executive Officer (GCEO), effective November 1, 2025. This appointment marks an important milestone in the company's ongoing transformation to become a leading logistics and eCommerce player.
Mr. Chong, 62, brings over two decades of leadership experience in telecommunications, technology, and international business, with a distinguished 28-year career at Singtel Group. He will lead the executive management team, including Group Chief Operating Officer Ms. Neo Su Yin, Group Chief Financial Officer Mr. Isaac Mah, and Chief Legal Officer and Company Secretary Mr. Jonathan Ooi.

Professional Background
Mr Chong is presently Singtel’s Group Chief Corporate Officer. He assumed this role in Jan 2025 after completing a successful two year posting as Deputy CEO of AIS, Singtel’s regional associate in Thailand. He has previously served as Singtel Group's Chief Technology Officer for six years, where he led technology strategy and innovation, including the launch of world leading mobile capabilities across its networks in Singapore and Australia.
Mr. Chong’s extensive international experience includes a four-year tenure as CEO of International at Singtel, where he was responsible for Singtel's overseas associate businesses, and previous stints as Deputy CEO and Chief Operating Officer of AIS. He has held several executive positions since joining Singtel in 1997, including Executive Vice President of Networks in Singapore and Vice President of Global Accounts. He represented Singtel on the boards of publicly listed companies such as Globe Telecom, Bharti Infratel, CS Loxinfo, and several submarine cable joint ventures. He was previously the Chairman of Bridge Alliance. Currently, he is a Board Member of the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore.
Mr. Chong holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics Engineering and a Masters Degree in Research in Electronic Systems from ENSERG, Grenoble, France, achieved on a Singapore Government scholarship. He also earned a Master of Business Administration from the National University of Singapore.
