General Sending Information

How can I find out the cost of sending my item?

You can find the best shipping option and pricing by using our online tools. We recommend using our Rate Calculator tool for a quick estimate, or you can refer to our Delivery Rates for a full breakdown.

Can I get extra insurance for valuable items?

Where can I drop it off or arrange a pickup?

After your item is prepared with the postage and labels, you have several convenient options to get it to us. Please refer to our Drop-Off Points FAQ for complete details on our drop-off points.

International Mail Services

How can I send letters and small packages overseas?

For sending letters, documents, and small packages, you have two main options:

  • Ordinary Mail (International)
This is the most economical way to send items that do not require tracking. It is suitable for postcards, letters, and printed papers.
    • Airmail: Up to 2kg, Maximum size is 305mm x 381mm x 20mm.
    • Surface mail: Up to 2kg, Maximum size is 240mm x 162mm x 6mm.
  • Registered Service (Overseas)
This service provides a tracking number and requires the recipient to sign for the delivery in most destination countries. It's ideal for sending important documents.
    • Weight Limit: Up to 500g.
    • Max Dimensions: 305mm x 381mm x 30mm.

What is the difference between an Advice of Receipt (AR) and a Signed Delivery Receipt?

An Advice of Receipt (AR) is an optional service you can add for an extra $1.00, which provides a formal confirmation of receipt. All prices stated are in Singapore Dollars.

A Signed Delivery Receipt is a digital copy of the recipient's signature, available upon request from the destination's postal administration. This can take at least 25 working days.

Services for Larger Parcels

What should I use for sending larger parcels overseas?

Speedpost is our international courier service that offers fast, tracked, door-to-door delivery. The general weight limit is up to 30kg, and the size limit is typically 1.5m for the longest side, with the total dimension (Length + 2 x Width + 2 x Height) not exceeding 3m. Please note that limits can vary by destination country.

You can choose from several options depending on your needs for speed and budget:

  • Speedpost Express: This is the fastest option for time-sensitive shipments, with delivery typically within 2 to 9 working days to major destinations.
  • Speedpost Priority: A reliable option for sending parcels with a balance of speed and cost, with delivery typically within 3 to 14 working days.
  • Speedpost Economy: The most economical option for sending non-urgent parcels, with delivery typically within 3 to 15 weeks.
