We will be adjusting international and domestic postage rates from 1 January 2024 due to overall cost increase. This is in tandem with the exceptional inflationary cost increases across manpower, fuel and electricity, as well as the increase in Goods and Services Tax (GST).

We will also be standardising our post office operating hours across the island progressively as part of our ongoing efforts to simplify our service offerings for better customer experience.

Rate Adjustments

Starting from 1 January 2024, the rates for international airmail letters, printed papers, aerogrammes and postcards will be increased by $0.05 for Zones 1, 2 and 3. These increases are a result of yearly fee updates made by the Universal Postal Union (UPU), leading to increased settlement costs.

As announced in December 2022, domestic postage rates will be adjusted in tandem with the change in Goods and Services Tax (GST) from 8% to 9% from 1 January 2024.

Standard Regular mail rate will be increased by $0.01 to $0.52, while there will be no change in the Standard Large mail rate.

The Registered Service (Singapore) rate will be increased by $0.06 to $6.16 (plus prevailing postage rate).
