An Post has advised that there will be significant delays in processing and delivery of inbound and outbound mail, which are facing major disruptions as the country experiences its worst snowstorms since 1982. The Irish Meteorological Service has issued a national red alert warning for most of the country.
Société Tchadienne des Postes et de l'Epargne has updated that the postal staff strike is ongoing. Processing of outgoing items remains suspended, but some incoming items are being processed in the capital, N’Djamena.
Correos de El Salvador has updated that the strike has ended and all postal services are back to normal.
New Zealand Post has updated that the domestic mail network across the lower North Island and the upper South Island has largely returned to normal. In the Tasman District (South Island), where there have been landslips and damage to road infrastructure, contingency measures are in place to ensure people receive their mail, but there may be delays.
Correos de El Salvador has advised that postal services have been suspended due to industrial action that started on 21 February 2018. Significant delays in the delivery and collection of all mail to and from the country may be expected.
