Sending via Registered Service
Registered Service (Singapore) accepts letters, postcards and printed papers up to 500g. Registered Service (International) accepts items up to 2kg, provided the service is available to the country of destination.
Registered Service (Singapore) fee is S$2.24 (inclusive of GST) and Registered Service (International) fee is S$3.60. Registered Service fee is applicable on top of postage costs. Postage cost varies according to destination, weight and size of item. Calculate your postage HERE.
Registered Service is a optional sign-for service with tracking and signature on delivery in Singapore and most destinations. For Registered Service (International), if the addressee confirms non-receipt or request for proof of delivery, SingPost can check with the postal organization at destination. If a Registered Service mail item is declared lost, SingPost will provide compensation of up to S$68 or up to the declared value, whichever is lower.

Track your registered mail here. For Registered Service (International), SingPost provides the status up to the dispatch of the registered mail from Singapore to its destination. Please note that registered mail statuses may not be available depending on the destination.
You will need to provide a copy of the posting receipt, Registered Service tracking number, details of content, sender and addresses details and a letter from addressee confirming the non-receipt before filling in the form online. An enquiry should be raised only if the addressee has confirmed non-receipt. Please allow the following time frame after date posting before raising an enquiry:
a) Local to Local - After 7 working days from date of posting.
b) Local to Overseas (via Air) - After 18 working days from date of posting.
c) Local to Overseas (via Surface) - After 8 weeks from date of posting.
The overseas postal administration may take up to 2 months or 60 days to respond to your enquiry. All enquires must be made within 6 months from date of posting.
SingPost is limited to a maximum liability of S$68.00 or the declared value, whichever is lower. There will be no compensation for paper-based items like letters or documents.

Unclaimed registered mail can only be collected at SingPost Centre Post Office. All claims must be made within 6 months from the date of posting.
