Pick & Pump - Heightened Convenience For Motorists As POPStations Open At Caltex Service Stations
Singapore, 15 February 2015 - Since the launch of SingPost's enterprising POPStation in April 2013, SingPost is continuously expanding its network of POPStations to provide even better service to its customers. Customers can now post, pay, collect and return parcels at about 90 POPStations across the island and at their convenience. The inventive POPStations are also strategically located at very accessible places such as shopping malls, office buildings, sports and recreation centres, post offices and at community centres.
To further boost the convenience factor, SingPost collaborated with CaltexTM for the first time to roll out the POPStations at five strategically-located service stations on a pilot basis. Customers can pick up parcels from the POPStations located at Caltex Holland, Caltex Serangoon Avenue, Caltex Balestier, Caltex Beach Road or Caltex Bukit Batok 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

I work long hours and the POPStation offers me the convenience to pick up my parcel easily at any time of the day. Now with the added ease of being conveniently located at Caltex stations, it makes it even easier for me to just swing by to pick up my parcels whilst I pump petrol! I can kill two birds with one stone at my next Caltex visit."
Mr Jonathan Wee, 38, a marketing professional, comments: "It is a breeze to use POPStation. I am pleased with the flexibility and convenience provided by the 24/7 POPStation. Having one at a petrol station that I frequently visit is a nice plus."
For greater convenience and speedier retrieval, customers can download the POPStation Mobile App. One of features that the POPStation mobile app offers is the "air unlock" which allows consumers to pick up their parcels even more quickly when they are within close proximity to the POPStation by swiping on their smart gadgets. The POPStation mobile app also allows consumers to track their POPStation parcels, receive alerts, manage their accounts or get information on the POPStation locations etc. Consumers can download the POPStation mobile app from the Apple Store. The android version will be rolled out soon.
To provide even more convenience to online customers, SingPost works with eRetailers to use POPStation to provide the last mile convenience to their customers. Partner eRetailers onboard includes popular brands like omigo, vPOST, Rakuten, Deal.com.sg, Zalora, Xiaomi and Taobao. More customers are in the pipeline.
