Fuel surcharge is a separate component applicable for Speedpost’s air borne courier and AirParcel services. World jet fuel prices fluctuate as indicated through the Fuel Price Index, the standard indicator in the air cargo industry. Changes in the fuel surcharge are therefore necessary due to similar price adjustments imposed by airlines.

Following industry practice, this index-based surcharge is adjusted monthly. For the month of November 2005 the fuel surcharge will be increased to 13.5%. Changes to the surcharge will be effective the first day of each month and will be posted in the ‘Fuel Surcharge Update’ table below approximately one to two weeks prior to the effective date.

There will be a lag in the application of the index. For example, the monthly average price for fuel in April 2005 will be used to determine the applicable surcharge in June 2005. This is due to the release dates of the Jet Fuel index data.

Although SingPost makes every attempt to give notice concerning changes in the fuel surcharge, SingPost reserves the right to make changes to the fuel surcharge without notice. Both the amount and duration of the surcharge will be determined at SingPost’s sole discretion.
3. This surcharge will continue to apply to all the regions of the world served by SingPost.
