DENMARK

Customs Declarations Value up to $700 - Green Label (CN22);

Restrictions also apply to stock and share certificates.
Address If the postal code number is known, it is advisable that it should appear in the address of all postal packets at the left-hand side of the name of the place of destination.
PARCEL POST (Air Parcel Only)

Customs Declarations Parcel Despatch Note.
Prohibitions Letters, except those exchanged between the sender and the addressee of the parcel or persons residing with them; dried milk products; honeycombs; gas lighters and refills.

All weapons, including but not limited to firearms, including gun barrels, gun breeches, air rifles and airsoft guns, cross bows, cutting weapons with blades of more than 12 cm, switch-blade knives, push daggers, thrusting and stabbing weapons, knuckledusters, truncheons and clubs, and other similar articles.
Restrictions Restrictions apply to the importation of agricultural products, live animals, eggs of all kinds, raw hides, plants, medicines, narcotics, alcohol and tobacco.
Certificates of Origin or Import Permit Certificates of origin or import permits are required for certain types of goods. Where a certificate of origin or an invoice bearing the origin declaration is provided this should be stated on the customs declaration, and all the documents should be handed to the post office with the parcel. Alternatively the certificate of origin or invoice may be sent direct to the addressee.
Invoices An invoice, to be sent to the addressee in advance, is required for all goods on which the import duty is calculated on an ad valorem basis.

DJIBOUTI (Republic of)

LETTER POST

Customs Declarations Value up to $700 - Green Label (CN22);

Value over $700 - Parcel Despatch Note in addition to upper part of Green Label.
Prohibitions Bank-notes, currency notes, documents payable to bearer, coin, gold, jewellery, platinum, precious stones, silver. Ordinary letters containing articles subject to customs duty.
PARCEL POST (Air Parcel Only)
Supplementary Services Available None.
Customs Declarations Parcel Despatch Note.
Prohibitions Letters, except those exchanged between the sender and the addressee of the parcel or persons residing with them.
Sealing Parcels should be sealed with a distinctive device.
Delivery Addressees are notified of arrival of parcels and are required to arrange for their collection.

Prohibitions Explosive or dangerous material or substances; indecent or obscene prints, paintings, lithographs, photographs, engravings, books, cards or other indecent or obscene articles; opium, morphine, cocaine, heroin or other narcotics; covers bearing words, marks or designs of an indecent, obscene, libellous or grossly offensive character.


 

DOMINICAN REPUBLIC

Customs Declarations and Languages Value up to $700 - Green Label (CN22);

Value over $700 - Parcel Despatch Note in addition to upper part of Green Label.

Spanish or French as well as English.
Prohibitions Bank and currency notes; coin; gold; jewellery; platinum; precious stones; silver; books and pamphlets containing communist propaganda.
Restrictions Restrictions apply to the importation of plants and seeds.
Customs Control Books are liable to Customs Control and a Green Label must be affixed to each packet containing them.
PARCEL POST

Customs Declarations and Languages Parcel Despatch Note.

Spanish or French as well as English.
Prohibitions Letters, except those exchanged between the sender and the addressee of the parcel or persons residing with them; daggers except under permit; gaming appliances; books and pamphlets containing communist propaganda. Books addressed to bookshops care of banking institutions.
Restrictions Restrictions apply to the importation of plants and seeds.
Sealing Parcels containing specie, gold or silver articles, or other precious objects must be sealed with a distinctive device.
