Q1. What is My SingPost Box?

My SingPost Box service provides you with a unique and simplified address. You can now enjoy total privacy and convenience with all your corporate mail delivered to your preferred registered business address.

 

Q2. How will My SingPost Box address look like?

Name of Subscriber
My SingPost Box No. 88xxxx
Singapore 919191

88 is a standard prefix followed by 4 personalised numbers allocated to the Subscriber. For all incoming mail from overseas, the word “Singapore” must be indicated at the last line of the address.

 

Q3. What is My SingPost Box’s delivery standard?

Additional 1-2 working days are required to process the items. Thereafter, Ordinary and Registered mail delivery will follow SingPost service standards as found on the website.

 

Q4. How do I apply?

For application of Service, please submit the completed application form to any Post Office. The application form is available on SingPost website and at any Post Office. 

 

Q5. How is the subscription period computed?

Period of subscription will take effect from the date subscribed. For instance, if you subscribed for a one-year service and the date subscribed is 10 March 2016, the service will expire on 9 March 2017.

 

Q6. Is there a cap on the volume of my mail going to my Box Number?

Yes. When the amount of mail addressed to the Box Number exceeds 30 items per day, the Subscriber shall have to subscribe to SingPost’s Corporate Mail Delivery (CMD) Service.

 

Q7. If I move to a new location, can I change my registered address?

Yes, you may change the Registered Address twice a year during the subscription period at no additional fee, whether it is an oversea or a local address. A fee of $31.50 (Including GST) shall be charged upon the third request during the subscription period. The Subscriber is required to give written notice of at least three (3) Working Days to effect such change.

 

Q8. Can I receive mail overseas?

Yes, you can have an overseas address as your registered mailing address. The delivery of your mail to an overseas address will be subjected to airmail and handling charges of $25 ($26.75 w/GST) per month, in addition to the registration and subscription fees.

 

Q9. How will I be notified of the annual renewal?

The bill for renewal will be sent to your My SingPost Box number one month before the expiry of the service.

 

Q10. Will there be any refund if I terminate the Service before expiry of the subscription period?

No, there will not be any refund of the unused period of the subscription fee paid.

It is a posting box with unique posting number for individual or corporate use. Mail bearing the P.O. Box Number or Locked Bag Number of the Customer's P.O. Box or Locked Bag will be delivered to such P.O. Box or Locked Bag regardless of the name of the addressee.

 

Q2. How do I apply?

For application of Service, please submit the completed application form to any Post Office. The application form is available on SingPost website and at any Post Office.

For corporate application, you may contact the respective SingPost's salesperson.

Q5. What happens if the P.O. Box is full?

If the P.O Box is full or dimension of the mail is unable to fit into the P.O. Box, SingPost will forward the mail to the nearest SingPost post office for self-collection. For any P.O Box mail which remains uncollected at any post office beyond 10 working days, SingPost reserves the right to return such mail to the sender (if there is a return address) or destroy the mail (if there is no return address).

 

Q6. How do I terminate the service?

You may terminate the Service by giving SingPost written notice and the Service shall be terminated upon receipt of such written notice by SingPost. There will not be a refund of the Service Fee or any part thereof.
