The designated postal operator of the Dominican Republic has advised that postal operations, which have been affected by the Hurriance Irene, have resumed.

The designated postal operator of the Dominican Republic has advised that mail receipt and delivery might be delayed on account of Hurricane Irene.
Chile – Industrial Action
The designated postal operator of Chile has advised that the Central Unitaria de Trabajadores (CUT) has declared a 48-hour strike on 24 and 25 August 2011. Collection and delivery of international and domestic mail may be affected.

The designated postal operator of the Dominican Republic has advised that postal operations, which have been affected by the Tropical Storm Emily, have resumed.

The designated operator of Great Britain has advised that due to riots in certain areas of London, mail delivery service to the following areas may be delayed: BR1 1; CR2, 3, 4 & 6; E4, 5, 9, 10, 11, 15 & 17; HA1; IG1 & 11; N15, 17& 22; NW1 & 5; RM1, 9, 10, 13 & 20; SW2, 4, 9, 10, 12, 17; SE6 4; SE8 3; SE13 5, 6&7; SE14 5&6; SE15 4&5; SE18; W5.
