Thailand - Heavy Rains
Thailand Post has advised that heavy rains and flood in the southern part of the country have caused disruptions to mail operations, resulting in possible delays in the delivery of items to the following areas with postcode: 80xxx, 81xxx, 84xxx, 85xxx, 86xxx, 90xxx, 92xxx and 93xxx.
Morocco - Normal Operations
Delivery of Speedpost EMS items, which have been affected by demonstration since 25 March 2011, have resumed. - 29 March 2011
Japan - Major earthquake and tsunami
Japan Post has advised that while delivery of items to a number of affected areas has improved, they are still facing difficulty in delivery items to the following areas.

Morocco - Strike
Parts of Morocco have been affected by a strike. Consequently, delivery of Speedpost EMS items to towns other than Casablanca, Rabatt, Marrakesh, Tangiers and Fes may be longer than usual. - 17 March 2011
Japan - Major earthquake and tsunami
Japan Post has advised that it will be making every possible effort to ensure delivery of items to the areas affected by the earthquake although there are still delivery problems in some of the affected areas, as listed below. It has also advised that items for which the addressees cannot be located in spite of its efforts will have to be returned to the senders.

Portugal - Strike
CTT Expresso Portugal has advised that its operational network has been affected due to a sudden strike by truck freight drivers since 14 March 2011, resulting in delays. - 14 March 2011
Japan - Major earthquake and tsunami
Japan Post is declaring a force majeure as a result of the the massive earthquake occurred in Japan on 12 March 2011. All inbound and outbound mail flows addressed to Hokkaido, Aomori, Akita, Iwate, Miyagi, Yamagata, Fukushima and Ibaraki areas are affected. Additionally, delivery service to the following areas with postal code beginning with following two numbers: 00, 01, 02, 03, 04, 05, 06, 07, 08, 09, 30, 31, 96, 97, 98 and 99 are also affected. Postal delays may be also expected in other areas due to the diversion of flights and worsening domestic traffic situation.
