Syrian Arab Republic - Service Delay
The designated postal operator of the Syrian Arab Republic has advised that due to the current exceptional circumstances in its country, delivery of parcels and letter-post items will be delayed.

The designated postal operator of Honduras (Rep.) has advised that postal services, which have been affected by the heavy rains since 10 October 2011, have resumed.

The designated postal operator of El Salvador has advised that mail operations, which are affected by the heavy rains, have resumed.

Thailand Post has further advised that the delivery of postal items throughout Thailand may be subjected to delay due to floods.
Australia - Qantas Flight Suspension
Australia Post has advised that all inbound and outbound mail delivery will be affected due to the suspension of Qantas flights.

Turkey – Earthquake
The designated postal operator of Turkey has advised that serious earthquake on 23 October 2011 has disrupted the delivery of postal items including EMS items to Van and Erciþ.

Thailand - Heavy Rains and Floods
Thailand Post has further advised that more areas are affected by the heavy rains and floods. As a result, delivery of postal items to the following provinces will be delayed: Nonthaburi 11xxx, Pathumthani 12xxx, Ayuthaya 13xxx, Angthong 14xxx, Lopburi 15xxx, Singburi 16xxx, Chainat 17xxx, Saraburi 18xxx, Chachoengsao 24xxx, Prachinburi 25xxx, Nakornnayok 26xxx, Nakornratchasima 30xxx, Buriram 31xxx, Surin 32xxx, Sisaket 33xxx, Ubonratchathani 34xxx, Khonkhaen 40xxx, Roiet 45xxx, Nakornsawan 60xxx, Uthaithani 61xxx, Kampaengpet 62xxx, Tak 63xxx, Sukhothai 64xxx, Phitsanuloke 65xxx, Pichit 66xxx, Supanburi 72xxx, Nakornpathom 73xxx.

Guatemala - Heavy Rains
The designated postal operator of Guatemala has advised that postal services in the following areas: Alta Verapazn, Baja Verapaz, Chimaltenango, Chiquimula, El Progreso, Escuintla, Huehuetenango, Jalapa, Jutiapa, Quetzaltenango, Quiché, Retalhuleu, San Marcos, Santa Rosa, Solola, Suchitepequez and Totonicapán have been disrupted by heavy rains and landslides since 13 October 2011.

Honduras (Rep.) - Heavy Rains
The postal operator of Honduras (Rep.) has advised that heavy rains, since 10 October 2011, may affect postal services.
India - Natural Disasters
India Post has advised that postal services in Sikkim and other parts of northeastern India have been disrupted by the earthquakes as well as incessant rain and landslides on 18 and 19 September 2011.
Australia - Normal Operations
Australia Post has advised that postal services, which have been affected by the industrial action since 13 October 2011, have resumed.

Greece - Strike
The postal operator of Greece has advised that due to a 48-hour strike by the Association of Civil Servants (including the air traffic controllers) and the Confederation of Greek Workers on 19 and 20 October 2011, collection and delivery of international and domestic mail will be affected.

El Salvador - Heavy Rains
The postal operator of El Salvador has advised that heavy rainfall since 10 October 2011 has caused disruptions to mail delivery.
Brazil - Normal Operations
The postal operator of Brazil has advised that postal services, which have been affected by the partial strike since 14 September 2011, have resumed.

Greece - Industrial Action
The postal operator of Greece has advised that a planned Industrial action by Greek Federation of Customs Officers has been announced for the period from 14 October to 23 October. This may affect processing of inbound items as well as EMS delivery.
Australia - Strike
Australia Post has advised that a planned strike by staff of the Australian Quarantine Inspection Services and the Australian Customs and Border Protection Services has been announced for the period from 13 October to 17 October 2011. This may affect processing of inbound items as well as delivery.

Costa Rica - Flood
The designated postal operator of Costa Rica has advised that inclement weather and flood have damaged the country's road network, resulting in possible delays in the delivery of postal items.
Australia - Normal Operations
Australia Post has advised that postal services, which have been affected by the industrial action since 6 October 2011, have resumed. Australia Post will take some time to clear backlogs and customers in these affected areas - Victoria, Tasmania, South Australia, Western Australia and postcodes beginning with 3, 8, 5, 08, 6 and 7 may experience some delays in delivery.
Thailand - Heavy Rains
Thailand Post has further advised that more areas are affected by the heavy rains and flood. As a result, the delivery of postal items to this affected areas with the postcode: 30XXX-31XXX and 62XXX may be delayed. However, operations and deliveries in the following postcode areas have resumed: 20XXX – 23XXX, 27XXX, 35XXX, 42XXX, 48XXX – 49XXX, 55XXX, 58XXX, 67XXX, 81XXX – 86XXX, and 91XXX – 92XXX.

The postal operator of Greece has advised that due to a 24-hour strike by the country's Association of Civil Servants and air traffic controllers on 5 October 2011, incoming and outgoing mail might be affected.

Chile - Heavy Snowfall
The designated postal operator of Chile has advised that due to the heavy snowfall, delivery of mail to the localities of Lonquimay, Curarrehue, Melipeuco, Curacautín, Pucón, Cunco, Vilcún and Villarrica, which are declared as disaster areas, will be subject to delay.
